What is Search and Rescue Post 156?
Post 156 is an all volunteer Search and Rescue Emergency Services Team comprised
of area teenagers, their parents and advisors.
A little about our organization:
We are a Search and Rescue (SAR) Team designed to teach teens (14-21) official
Search and Rescue Techniques. We offer all members to receive official SAR
certifications through the National Association for Search and Rescue (NASAR).SAR156
also provides Search and Rescue Support for all of Monmouth County, New Jersey.

SAR156 is called to Summerset for
missing elderly person. Man was
found with not injuries.

SAR156 is deployed for missing 26
year old in Hazlet. Man was found
with no injuries

SAR156 spends the day at Clayton
Park competing in SAR exercises.
Congratulations to TEAM Alpha on

SAR156 gets deployed on a search
for a 4 YO boy in Holmdell. Boy was
found with no injuries.

SAR156 completes one year plan.

Post 156 sends 12 members to
participate in its first live SAR
mission. Good job to all those who
participated.

Post 156 is officially accepted by
the Search and Rescue Council of
New Jersey (SARCNJ) as
probationary members. . Under the
guidance of Central Jersey
Technical Rescue Team (CJTR)
SAR156 will complete one year of
probationary status to become full
members.
